"San Antonio Black Bronchos Play Dallas Black Giants Here. - The San Antonio Black Bronchos and the Dallas Black Giants will be the attraction at Gardner Park this afternoon and tomorrow. These games will no doubt be the best this season as it has been five years since the Black Bronchos appeared here and they were then the best in the league. this will no doubt be a pitchers' battle as Dave Brown and Buck Alexander, without doubt one of the best pitchers in the country will oppose one another. To the games all soldiers, marines, enlisted, and drafted men in uniforms will be admitted to gate and grand stand free except the war tax. Games will be called at 4 o'clock."

"Plenty of Baseball Provided for Fans of Dallas Today - A double header is also scheduled at Gardner Park this afternoon, when the Dallas Black Giants and the Fort Worth Wonders clash. The first game will be called at 3:30 o'clock. Dave Brown has been nominated to pitch for the Giants, while Big Shanks will do mound duty for the Panther City crew. Music will be furnished by a brass band. Seats will be reserved for white patrons."

"Negro Ball Game Tomorrow. - A double-header baseball game will be staged at Gardner Park tomorrow afternoon by the Hot Springs Bear Cats and Dallas Black Giants. The first game will be called at 3:30 o'clock. This will be the first visit by the Arkansas negro contingent to Dallas this season. The club is said to be fast and well balanced. A brass band will play popular numbers during the games. Special seats will be reserved for white persons."

"Black Giants Win Both Games From Hot Springs Bears. - The Dallas Black Giants defeated the Hot Springs Bears in both ends of a double-header yesterday afternoon at Gardner Park. The score in the first game was 9 to 2, in the second 1 to 0. Eleven errors were made in the first game."

"Black Giants to Play Fort Worth Tomorrow. - The Dallas Black Giants will have as their opponents for the usual double bill at Gardner Park tomorrow afternoon the Fort Worth Wonders. The first game will be called at 3:30 o'clock. There will be plenty of reserved seats for the white fans. A jazz band will tender a concert during the games. This will perhaps be the last appearance of the Wonders on the local field."

"Negro Soldiers to Play Black Giants Here Today. - The Camp Travis negro soldiers team will appear this afternoon in a double bill at Gardner Park against the Dallas Black Giants, the champions of the Texas Colored League. The first game will be played at 4 o'clock. The same teams play at the same hour tomorrow. They will have a brass band to help the entertainment. Special seats will be provided for white patrons."

"Jazz Music at Negro Game will Help Draw Crowd. - Play will be called at promptly 3:30 o'clock this afternoon for the double baseball bill which the Dallas Black Giants and the Oklahoma City Colored Indians will stage at Gardner Park. The visiting team arrived yesterday, and with all the players in good condition two fast contests are looked for. A jazz band will furnish music Special seats will be reserved for white patrons."
