"Baseball at Athletic Field. - There were two games of baseball scheduled for the afternoon at the Athletic Field, but as the Royal Colored Giants did not arrive, the Huntingtons with the addition of some of the local fans, made up two nines and played for the amusement of some one hundred or so spectators. It was a great game, the players and spectators alike enjoying old fashioned baseball."
