"Omaha, Nebraska is preparing to have the fastest baseball team West of the Mississippi. They have two men from Buxton, Iowa, Lon Lee, of Kansas City Jenkins, two from Algona Brownies, and one from the Gophers. The team will play in Chicago this summer. They are called the Omaha Giants. Lineup: Whaley at catcher; Lee, Williams and Turner at pitcher; P. Terrell at first base; Hurt at second base; Green at shortstop; Lindsey at third base; Tootle, Warren, Williams and Brown at outfield. The team is under the management of Cyrus Terrell. Joseph Hale is secretary."
