"The Kloethe Reds baseball team of Hot Springs, Arkansas, report a death list of three players for the past year. They are Blipp, the famous young pitcher, who was killed last May; Hilton, pitcher, and Sam Butler, first baseman, who died February 26th."

"The two crack baseball teams of Hot Springs, the Kloethe Reds, under the management of Dave Johnson, and the Majestic White Sox, under the management of Will Newton, are getting very active. They will be ready for real action in just a few more weeks. It will pay outside managers of good teams to get in touch with them for dates. Read Freeman and keep posted.
