"Colored Teams Meet. - Washington and Baltimore Giants Open Season Tomorrow. - After taking two games from the Baltimore Giants and losing two, the Washington Giants arrived home last night in good condition, with the exception of Thomas, whose ankle will prevent him from playing for several days. The locals open their season at the Union League Park tomorrow, when they will again face the Baltimore Giants for three games, after which they will meet the White Semi-Pros for two games, and then comes the Philadelphia Giants for three games. After - working of the team, Manager - assures the public that Washington has a colored professional team that is able to compete with any of the best colored professionals in the association. Cy Young, who shut the Baltimores out Friday, may twirl tomorrow's game. The gates will open at 4 p.m. Game called at 5 p.m. A band will be in attendance."
